ಆದಿ ಶಂಕರಾಚಾರ್ಯರ ಭೇಟಿ
- ಭರೂಚ್ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಆದಿ ಶಂಕರಾಚಾರ್ಯ ಮಠವು ಭೃಗು ಮಹರ್ಷಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಭಾರತದಾದ್ಯಂತ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆದಿ ಶಂಕರರ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯದಿಂದಲೂ ಪವಿತ್ರಗೊಂಡ ಸ್ಥಲವೆಂದು ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
- ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ವೃತ್ತಾಂತಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಶಂಕರರು ದೇವಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಆಶ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿ, ಆಶ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವು ದಿನಗಳ ಕಾಲ ತಂಗಿದ್ದರೆಂದು ನಂಬಲಾಗಿದೆ.
- ಪರಿಸರದೊಳಗೆ ಪಾತಾಳೇಶ್ವರ ಲಿಂಗವನ್ನು ಆದಿ ಶಂಕರಾಚಾರ್ಯರು ಸ್ವತಃ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾಪನೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಆಚರಣಾತ್ಮಕ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿಕೆಯ ಆಳವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಗಣಪತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಆಂಜನೇಯರ ಜೊತೆಯ ಗುಡಿಗಳು ಸಹ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಪೂಜೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ. ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿಯಾಗಿ, ಮುಖ್ಯ ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಇರುವ ಒಂದು ಲಿಂಗವು ಸಹ ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ವೃತ್ತಾಂತಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಶಂಕರರ ಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದೆ, ಇದು ಅವರ ಭೇಟಿಯ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಮುದ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಈ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
