आदि शंकराचार्य का यहाँ आगमन
- At the foothills of the sacred Girnar, near the serene precincts of Damodar Kund, stands the revered Damodar Mandir, a kṣetra deeply associated with the tapas of Sage Muchukunda.
- Centred around the worship of Śrī Dāmodara (Mādhava), the shrine is also revered in the tradition of Rādhā–Mādhava upāsanā, reflecting a gentle confluence of devotional streams within this sacred space. Alongside, the presence of an Īśvara Liṅga further enriches the spiritual character of the temple, bringing together Vaiṣṇava and Śaiva traditions in quiet harmony.
